Terms of Use
Free to use, your board stays yours, and a ranking is an opinion rather than a publisher fact.
Acceptance
By using tier-list.org you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The terms apply to browsing, voting, saving a board and signing in.
The service
The site provides a browser-based tier list maker, public starter boards, community voting and an admin-reviewed keyword queue. It is free and has no paid tier at the time of writing.
Your content
You keep ownership of the board you create. By saving and sharing it, you grant the site permission to display that board at its public link and to store it for as long as the link exists. You are responsible for the text and images you add; do not upload material you have no right to use.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to harass, to publish illegal content, to attempt to break authentication or rate limits, to scrape at a volume that degrades service, or to misrepresent a board as an official publisher ranking. Automated access to the admin or ingest endpoints without a credential is prohibited.
Rankings are opinions
A starter board is a dated editorial opinion. A community tier is an aggregate of votes. Neither is a statement of fact about a game's balance, a person's ability or a product's quality. The site is not affiliated with any publisher, studio or franchise named on a page.
Accounts
Sign-in uses a six-digit email code. You are responsible for the inbox you use. You can delete the account from the account page. The site may suspend an account that is used to abuse the service.
Availability
The site is provided as-is, without a service-level guarantee. Pages may change, be unpublished or be removed. The maker runs in your browser, but saving and sharing require the server.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, the site is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of a ranking or the maker. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of the page shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
