Rankings with the seams showing

Tier List is a free maker and a public board. Every page separates a dated editorial ranking from a live community vote, because pretending one number is objective is how tier list sites become useless.

How a page is made

Each published page starts with a starter board: a short editorial pass that names the items and places the strongest picks. It is dated. It is not a claim about the current patch, a publisher's data feed or a professional player's ranking.

The community vote is separate. A visitor can put any roster item into S through F. An item only gets a community tier after at least three votes, so a single visitor cannot flip the board. The page shows both the starter tier and the community tier, and the vote table is the full roster.

A daily trend check looks at Google Trends related searches for “tier list” and records the last successful run. It feeds the queue and the public trend page. It does not silently rewrite a roster or invent a patch note.

What gets published

A keyword is only published after a human review. The gate is deliberately concrete: a page needs at least ten named items and a category. A query with no roster stays in the queue as “needs data” instead of becoming a thin page with a thousand words of filler.

Aliases are folded into one canonical subject. “Anime adventures tier list”, “tier list anime adventures” and the same query with a year attached all point at one page. “Codes” queries are rejected before review because a tier list page does not answer them.

Data and independence

Trend signals come from Google Trends, which normalises each window to its own peak. A score is comparable inside one window, not across windows. The site is not affiliated with Google, any game publisher, studio or franchise named on a page.

There is no advertising network configured, no sponsored ranking and no paid placement. If that changes, the page will say so before the change reaches a board.

Corrections

If an item is missing, misnamed or placed in a way that is plainly wrong, email contact@tier-list.org with the page URL, the item and a source if you have one. Corrections are reviewed by hand; they are not applied automatically from an email.

What runs the site

The site is a Cloudflare Worker with a D1 database. Sign-in is a six-digit email code, not a password. The maker runs in your browser; a board is only uploaded when you press Save. The PNG export is drawn locally and never passes through the server.

Build a board, not an argument

Start from a roster or a blank page and publish your own order in under a minute.
